Moodle Hosting & Training

Not all hosting is the same! All of our Moodle sites are hosted by a Moodle Partner.

While any web host can host your Moodle site, we strongly advise against it. You should host your site with a Moodle Partner only. We work on only those sites that are hosted with a Moodle Partner.  Here is an excerpt from our eBook that explains why:

If you decide to have your own Moodle site, you should get a Moodle Partner for a host. Moodle Partners are knowledgeable about Moodle - upgrades, fixes, options - and they will keep your Moodle installation (software) current and running smoothly. Another consideration: a typical commercial web host has 200 - 1000 sites on one server. The same size server with a Moodle host would typically have only 20 Moodle sites! This is important because Moodle is interactive; users take up more memory than web-surfers on a static site. Remember my story about the first web host I had for Moodle? Don’t make the same mistake!

Training in how to use Moodle - such as how to create a course, add users, or insert videos - only Moodle Partners are qualified to provide this training to you. Anyone can explain something to you, and who's going to stop them, but if you want serious Moodle training from the Moodle Community, contact a Moodle Partner.
