Pricing for Moodle Content Development

We know it's important for your preliminary search and budget planning to have an idea of what our services will cost.  This page accurately and fairly represents the general costs you will incur for Moodle e-Learning content development services from Albany Analytical.

We offer Moodle e-Learning course development services for both new and existing Moodle users.  You may have your eLearning content in another LMS, such as Plateau or Blackboard and want it converted to Moodle, you may have an existing training workshop that you'd like turned into eLearning, or maybe you have a book that you'd like a companion course for.  Maybe you have a Moodle site and would like content developed or want to use our courses on your site. 

 Introductory offer for your first Moodle course - $1000:

This very special price is for very small businesses; first time Moodlers who aren't sure if e-Learning fits into their product mix.  Convert your existing book or presentation (in PDF, Word, or PPT format) to a Moodle course, for an awesome self-paced adult learning experience.

Additional services may be purchased* for your first Moodle course:

• Quiz questions (written and entered into your course): $10 each; minimum of 30
• Glossary questions (written and entered into your course): $10 each; minimum of 15
• Writing (content, marketing copy), editing, and research: $75/hour or a quoted project price
• Screen Capture Videos, Additional Animations: $200 - $350 each

*These fees represent a discount off our regular rates, to help you get started.

 Licensing BeeLearn.com Courses:  These are already developed, and available right now!  We can provide them to you as-is, or customize them.  For more, see the Licensing BeeLearn Courses page. Licensing fees start at 50% of published prices and can be lower for large volume license agreements.  We also offer customization of these courses at no additional fee for large volume, long-term license agreements.

 Your Courses (Sharing Our Site or On Your Own Site):  We'll take a look at your materials and provide you with a flat rate quote before work begins.  We'll help you choose what type of site you need and what features you'll want (or can afford right now).  These packages start at $2000 each for shared site courses and $5000 for your own site (includes hosting and set up).  Included...

  • Understanding your audience - their learning style(s), skills, needs
  • Understanding your training objectives

  • Site set-up, including hosting (with a Moodle Partner) and a customized theme (when applicable)
  • Curriculum design and course outlines
  • Course creation, fully utilizing Moodle's features
  • Graphics
  • Writing (course content, marketing copy)
  • Research (for additional resources, external links, course content)
  • Flash animations, Videos, and Audio files
  • Quizzes (creating and/or writing questions)
  • Glossaries (creating and/or writing entries)
• You'll always know what's included in the price, and what the bottom line is, before we start!  No surprises.

 Do It Yourself (DIY) plan:  We offer this package as an option to those who simply need help in the technical aspects of Moodle.  We will load your content, exactly as-is, into Moodle courses on your site.  This package is priced per Moodle page, at a rate of $15 per page. Content must be provided as Word or PDF documents for text, and all other materials must be web-ready. This package starts at $2000, including hosting and set up.

Additional services may be purchased with this package:

• Quiz questions (written and entered into your course): $20 each; minimum of 30
• Glossary questions (written and entered into your course): $20 each; minimum of 15
• Writing (content, marketing copy), editing, and research: $100/hour or a quoted project price
• Screen Capture Videos, Additional Animations: $300 - $450 each
